labeling chemistry, assay development and clinical data
interpretation. Extensive experience in cytogenics and clinical
diagnostic technologies such as FISH, interphase or fiber FISH, SKY
and CGH/aCGH is highly desired. Experience and knowledge in large
scale genetic association studies, genomic structural variations and
genomic data mining are a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD, MD or equivalent in molecular
biology, cytogenetics, human genetics or a related genomics field.
Experienced Masters level candidates will also be considered. In
addition, 3-5 years of post-doctoral, industry or clinical
experience is desired. Strong verbal and written skills are a must.
Molecular Biologist/Biochemist The successful candidate will
work with a team to design and execute studies relating to whole
genome structure analysis and sequencing based on single molecule
detection. Responsibilities include DNA preparation, probe design,
labeling chemistry and assay development. S/he will work closely
with the engineering team to develop the technology and also work
with academic and biotech partners to analyze and interpret data.

including the design and optimization of common enzymatic processes
(polymerization, ligation, etc.) is highly desired. Experience in
cytogenetics, fluorescent imaging and genomic data mining are a
plus.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in molecular
biology, biochemistry or a related field and 3-5 years work
experience of post doctoral and/or industry experience. Strong
verbal and written skills are a must.
Biophysicist/Optical Engineer The successful candidate will
have a strong background in fluorescence imaging techniques
including TIRF and confocal microscopy. Experience in single
molecule imaging of biological samples is highly desirable. Strong
data analysis skills along with experience in configuring data
acquistion systems are essential. Additional experience in
microfluidic systems and/or sample preparation for single molecule
studies is also desirable.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in biophysics, engineering or
other related field. Candidates with a Masters degree and 3+ years
of relevant experience will also be considered. Strong verbal and
written skills are a must.

focus on the development and implementation of algorithms associated
with the detection and resolution of relevant signals generated
using a nanodevice detection system. The candidate should possess
the following: 3+ years of experience developing bioinformatics
algorithms, software and systems, strong knowledge in areas of
general bioinformatics theory and practice, direct and specific
experience with genome sequencing and analysis, strong
interdisciplinary skills in computer science, statistics, and
molecular biology. Experience in product development from prototype
to production is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a MS in
Bioinformatics, math, statistics, computer sciences, physics,
engineering or equivalent experience (PhD a plus).
Microfluidics Engineer / Scientist The successful candidate
will develop novel nanofluidic devices for whole genome analysis.
Experience in micro/nano fluidic system design, microfabrication
techniques and biological assay development for microfluidics are
required. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with
microfluidic simulation packages and also fluorescence microscopy
techniques related to the analysis of flow in microfluidic devices.
